Here is one interesting factoid about our first NCAA Tournament berth in 33 years. Since we last played an NCAA Tournament basketball game, all six Chicago professional teams have won championships: Bears (1985), Bulls (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998), Fire (1998), White Sox (2005), Blackhawks (2010, 2013, 2015), and Cubs (2016). Of course, the White Sox 2005 World Series Championship is the greatest one of them all for me. But the fact that over the course of our 33-year NCAA drought each Chicago team has won a championship is amazing.
