1. As much as I enjoyed the whole Arch Madness experience....I cannot feel any other way than the TRUE champion is the one that stands atop the conference standings at the end of the year. Fair and Square, home and away......9 at home...9 on the road.......grind it our over 4 months......Our greatest accomplishment was winning the Conference by 4 games and winning 8 on the road. The tournament is an artificial creature created for TV and money and will probably never be changed as money shouts.
2. More teams belong in the NCAA tournament...granted most of those teams will not have a chance to win but they deserve the chance to be in the Dance and win a couple...the thought that if we had lost to ISU we would not have been in is absurd. The fact that ISU did not get in last year is absurd. 128 is correct......I do not think 129 would have the same argument as 65.....How many other teams in our Conference would have a chance to win one or two this year ? or have a 32 in with a bye and let the next 64 have a play in.....so 96 teams.
