This really good piece from Valpo's beat writer reflects a lot of the things Loyola and the fanbase went through in adjusting to the MVC. http://www.nwitimes.com/blogs/sports/in ... 74f54.html We had a lot more to prove and more naysayers when coming in than Valpo did, so maybe we busted our asses a little more to get up to speed, whereas Valpo thought they'd cruise right in and challenge for the top like they did going from the Summit to the Horizon. Great article, worth a read. |
