Believe this puts them at 15 scholarships so likely Martins aren’t coming back.

ISU is at like 16 scholarships right now, right? Will be interesting to see what these schools do. Will they force some players to walk on?

Musselman is an excellent recruiter. He has landed some of the top transfers in the country over the last few years and now landed a 5-star prospect. Beating out P-5 programs left and right. Seems like a good guy too--energetic and fun. Hope he stays with Nevada for a while.

Nevada is capable of winning the whole thing. A win over them would easily be a bigger win than @ Florida last year. Thank God Nevada’s on the schedule.

Non-con schedules are already being released:

Oklahoma: http://www.soonersports.com/ViewArticle ... =211717311

Xavier: https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports ... 619969002/

Xavier plays only two road games: at Cincinnati (a recurring home-and-home), and at Missouri.

Oklahoma plays three road games-- at UTRGV, at UTSA, and at Northwestern.

Quote:
For only the second time since 1940 and the first since 1977, the Sooners will open the regular season with a pair of true road games. Oklahoma begins the year at UTRGV on Nov. 9 in Edinburg, Texas, and then faces UTSA in San Antonio on Nov. 12. The Vaqueros and Roadrunners are coached by a pair of former OU assistants in Lew Hill (UTRGV) and Steve Henson (UTSA), who took their head coaching positions following Oklahoma’s run to the 2016 Final Four.

Here's what we have so far:

11/06 UMKC
11/19 vs. Richmond at Ft. Myers
11/21 vs. BC/Wyoming at Ft. Myers
11/27 Nevada

at UIC
2 MTE home games-- probably teams below 280 in RPI.

That accounts for 7 of probably 12 non-con games. Do we know any others?

The two games prior to but a part of the Fort Myers tourney will be held Wednesday November 14th and Friday November 16th. Opponents unknown.
The university is talking about putting together a Fort Myers trip package for those who want to follow the team. I imagine that the fact that Thanksgiving is the 22nd will suppress fans traveling to see the Ramblers.
I was surprised that the season ticket package had a modest increase in prices. I had anticipated something larger than the increase posted.
Hats off to the Athletic Department and Steve Watson for getting us in a better tourney.

Grambling St. was supposed to play at Mississippi on 11/14. Since Loyola is replacing them my guess is Grambling State is coming to Loyola on 11/16.

The Martin twins are returning to Nevada. Nevada should be a top 10 if not a top 5 squad when we play (and beat) them. This is great news for us.

Hopefully the neutral site game Loyola and Mississippi State were working on comes to fruition.

Martin twins withdrew from draft and are returning to Nevada, my prediction was wrong. Good chance Loyola is hosting a top 10 team in Nov...

On edit, didn’t see JB’s post last night. Pretty wild. Gentile will be nuts that night!

Grambling State and Niagara are two of the four road teams in the tournament. Home games will be 11/14 and 11/16. https://www.bloggingthebracket.com/2017 ... anksgiving

Lists us as being in the Horizon league... I guess it could be worse... they could have called us "Loyola-ILL."
