Valpo has overtaken us in terms of average recruiting stars. They are at a solid 2.5.....they have several players next year who were offered by P5 schools....Just found that interesting in light of us not as of yet being able to close our last recruit for this year. I know that Coach does not care about stars and there are always 2s who play like 3s and 3s that play like 2s....having said that I thought we would have seen a star recruit based on our momentum.
I brought up earlier and got no response but I think Evansville and Missouri State made excellent coach hires. I think next year is going to be tougher than we imagined.

Well Natey !! It is always tougher for thge one who sports a target on his back--US-- Evansville and Valpo will be our top competitors I feel.

We laost some good helpers except for AVERY who was a mistake to begin with it turns out---OUR replacements will suffice nicely as we are NOW a top team ONCE AGAIN. Let us hope our last recruit is a real winner !

Considering one of our recruits is from Canada, which likely hurt his “star” rating, I’m not really concerned. That kid may turn out to be our best recruit. From everything I’ve seen, this class is better than out last...which was pretty damn good.

Actually last year's class was rated higher. Negron was a 3.3 star, Krutwig was 3 star and Townes was a 2.5 star. This year Agunanne is a 3.5 star the rest are 2 stars.

Until proven wrong, I’ll stand by my statement from everything I’ve heard and seen. Especially if you include the transfer becoming eligible this year (Townes and Uguak). There’s some serious, and by many accounts underrated, talent coming in.

Evansville has added 1500 season tickets with their new hire. Drake’s new coach has also done a bang-up job putting together a roster at the last minute. That UAB PG is good.

Valpo and Indiana St will make a lot of strides next year. And they’ll be middle of the pack. This league might be tougher than last year when it was ranked #8.
