I think I chimed in about how the lack of good, available jobs meant that the chances Porter would leave before next season were practically nil, but this would have me worried about Porter's future here.

U of M would aim higher and probably succeed for a successor to JB

Porter is going NOWHERE !! Once again it is NOT all about $$$$ !! LUC and Porter will soon be rattling the P5 cages as has Villanova and Gonzaga et al !!

The Piston's aren't going to take Bealine. If anything, I would see Izzo taking a shot at the NBA given the amount of scrutiny his program has been under recently.

I"m still disappointed we didn't get a 2-1 with Michigan. I think that would have been a lot of fun.

Just taking an informal poll in my office today (I work across the street from the Crisler Center) these are the names that have come up as JB replacements:
Buzz Williams
Greg Marshall
Mark Few
Mike Brey
Greg McDermott

Only reason I shared is to give an idea of the caliber of coach the fanbase would be expecting as a replacement, common themes seem to be P5 experience, multiple tourney appearances, develops NBA players etc.

McDermott leaving Creighton would be interesting. No question in my mind that they would want to interview Porter.

With WSU likely headed for a down year, I could see Marshall bolting.
