I was reading some of the scouting reports and opinions of Donte's abilities, and I think they're all underestimating him. He's such an unselfish player that he doesn't get credit for a lot of the things he can do.

First, he's absolutely willing to sacrifice numbers to zero in on defense, or do whatever he has to do to win. Second, he's a fantastic clutch player, both on offense and defense. (Thinking about his late game-winners, crunch-time defensive stops and halftime buzzer-beaters). Third, he's an underrated athlete-- deceptively quick and very strong, with great anticipation.

He'd be a great addition to any team looking for someone who does the little things because he knows and understands the value of doing the little things.

I think if he has a deficit it is his ball handling at that level...

Agree that this is something he needs to improve. However, during the Florida game, I remember yelling "Donte get the ball and bring it up" when Clay went down.

You can watch the first two games this weekend on ESPN2. On Saturday, the Bulls play Cleveland at 8:30 p.m. On Sunday, they play the Lakers at 10:30 p.m.

Milton is playing summer league for the Nets as well.
