I don't blame or fault the kid at all. He has to do what is best for him. I wonder if we will look for any last minute players or just hold onto the scholarships.

Stinks but he clearly felt he was too far from home. Sucks but you that’s college freshman. I doubt we add anyone this late. 10 scholarship players isn’t ideal, but as shown in seasons past we rarely go deeper than 9 players (7 in tight games). Gives more focused time to Bujudoso and Kaifes, who may very well be the players sliding in for Custer and Townes in 19-20.

I’m not sure if this is the proper spot for this bit if information, but on the Instagram of Bulls guard and brother of assistant coach Drew Valentine, Denzel Valentine shared that him and Lucas Williamson have been working out together. Who knows to what extent they have been training, but that can only mean good things for Lucas’s development!

that is super exciting for Lucas and the team in general. How cool is that for the coaches and recruiting. I love that added sales angle.

I hate to say it and I hope I’m wrong but I think Negron is either still hurt or injured again. Every picture from practices that has been posted on Twitter by the team account or others shows him not in the typical practice jersey everybody else is in. He’s still in athletic gear and shoes which is promising but it looks like he isn’t fully practicing.

I’ve been keeping an eye on this a few weeks now, but with Jeff Goodman’s most recent tweet of Loyola practice I have gone from suspicious to fairly certain.

Hopefully I’m wrong or he is better very soon!

A good sign, though, is that he does not appear to be wearing a brace anymore. I spoke to Cam Krutwig a week or so ago and asked him about Negron's condition. Cam said that Negron seemed to be fully recovered and was practicing.

On the Ramblers' Twitter page there's a video posted of Jeff Goodman talking about the team. At about the 1:15 mark it shows the team huddling. On the left there is a tall player wearing #44 who I don't recognize. There is no #44 on the official roster.

Anybody know anything?
