Seeing on Twitter we had that closed scrimmage today. Reports from Jeff Rabjohns saying Indiana won, some people saying 70-48. His article is behind a paywall and I couldn’t read

Not too concerning either way to me, in these closed scrimmages usually teams are working on different things, sometimes the rules are changed or there are different time things or possessions, more of a practice really. Hopefully we didn’t actually lose a straight up game by 22, but regardless I’m sure it was a good experience going up against a Big 10 team, with a potential lottery pick in Romeo Langford.

Indiana’s gonna be really good this year. Great point guard. Top 5 recruit nationally. Also a friendly reminder that we are YOUNG past Custer and Townes. Gonna be growing pains.

Don't like hearing that score, but ultimately it's a glorified practice. Hopefully everybody learned something and got better (and stayed healthy).

Compared to other scrimmages, there has been very little info about this one leak out. That makes me think it was a structured type practice...but that’s based purely on speculation that I pulled out of my rear.

The only news I really care about is that it appears we came out of it healthy.

Yeah Goodman has tweeted box scores from other scrimmages which was odd to me. Maybe other teams are playing normal 40 minute games. From what I've heard about previous years we have played a couple different periods/situations and then maybe a 20 minute scrimmage. But who knows.

both reports kind of indicate we got hammered on the boards.....I am guessing we played the young guys a lot and that they got a pretty good lesson.

Screw the Hoosiers and their arrogance! Hope they get clobbered in the Big whatever the number is.
