This is speculation of the worst sort, but I wonder if we are recruiting out of fear that Cooper Kaifes may not have recovered from his hip surgery by next season.
Is it just me, or did it seem to anybody else that Cooper still had a little hitch in his giddyup when he was walking the sidelines?

He did, but that's normal. It can take a year. Word is he's doing fine.

For what it’s worth, I saw on social media (Instagram) it looks like he was playing in an open gym back home (KS) in March.

Former 4 star out of south bend, not sure of his eligibility but he’s a really solid athlete who could develop into a stud.

Not every day a 6’7 wing with guard skills walks through the door. Nice work by the coaching staff.

Big time, sit one play two player who is a solid inside presence. If he can improve his jumper he could be deadly

He didn't make a single basket in the last three months of last season.

A former four star prospect that didn’t find a good fit at the high major level? Sounds pretty familiar to me...

Has the scholarship chart of Ahunte been updated? A very nice quick reference tool.
