In Tom Welch's game this weekend against Benet and a top unsigned forward in Kendrick Tchoua, Welch scored 19 and grabbed 6 rebounds. Unfortunately his team lost in the finale of the tournament.

Kenedy’s Most recent stat line: He finished with 28 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Kennedy connected on 14 of 17 free throws.

Paxson Wojcik finished as the Bob Kirk Invitational Tournament MVP; Wojcik caught fire in La Lu's matchup with #11 Sunrise Christian going 5-7 from three in the first half... still looking for full game stats.

Good for Pax!

One quibbling cavil. It seems the tournament awarded two individual awards: MVP which Wojcik indeed won, and MOP (Most Outstanding Player) which his teammate Keion Brooks won.
I'm thinking MOP > MVP.

I won an award in Little League for Most Improved Player so I am sensitive to these little nuances.

Weird. Looks like MVP was for the championship game only, but the MOP was for the whole tourney!

Good to hear. I always assume that the rosters of these highly-ranked prep schools are loaded, so I didn't know how much he is really playing.
