I was wondering why Kennedy wasn't nominated and it occured to me that his coach at Brother Rice, Bobby Frasor, was a McDonald's All American himself (and not merely a nominee) when he graduated from Brother Rice in 2005 before heading for North Carolina.

Pure speculation on my part, but I wonder whether Frasor didn't nominate Kennedy as a way to protect his own legacy. That would be mean, petty and selfish for sure, but I think Kennedy deserved a nomination on his own merits and I can't figure out why he didn't get one. He's ranked higher by the recruiting services than both Welch and Wojcik.

Kennedy did it again. He scored 33 points in his game yesterday and had the go ahead bucket with 5.5 seconds left to seal the game for his team. I really think it’s safe to assume he’s the real deal.
