Starting lineup thoughts? Kaifes, Skokna, or Bujdoso?
I’m thinking Cooper after his second half showing yesterday.

Damn, too bad. He was really starting to find his game too. Hopefully he is ready to go by the Jan 12 showdown vs ISUr.

I'm thinking Cooper as well. Skona's experience is valuable off the bench.

Uguak's role becomes even more important--pulling for the kid!

Uguak has the raw ability. I think he has the desire. If he's put in the right role, he can be fantastic, I think.

I feel bad for Lucas, because he's got to miss UIC and Maryland. Maybe his sideline will light a fire under others.

Damn very unfortunate, he was just starting to become an offensive weapon. He already had the defensive skills down from last year. Luckily it’s just a broken hand, could be much worse.

I just thought I'd add a THANK YOU to the sports info people for the transparency in the report on Williamson. This helps a lot

This really is a bummer. I hope Ben gives him a call and gives him a good pep talk. When he came back it was a huge spark for us last year. It really sucks because you could tell Lucas out in a lot of work this summer and it looked like it had really paid off.

Looks like our bench is going to be even more experienced by the time we get to January.

I knew he'd been rebounding well, but 7 per game! That and his defense are huge losses in addition to his timely scoring. Anyone know when the injury happened? That could explain why he only took 4 shots on Tuesday.

Go Ramblers. Next man up.

I personally really think we need move past valuing Skokna's experience as a reason for him to stay in the rotation.

Currently his player efficiency rating is literally .1 and his win shares is negative. He's never been a good shooter but this season hes shooting 50% from the line, 25% from the floor and 11% from three which are all career lows. He's averaging a career high in turnovers as well.

Seeing him wrapped in the Croatian flag during the post game of last years elite 8 win is one of my happiest memories of the team, I think hes a great kid. But the reality is at the moment for whatever reason (he may have tired legs for playing for Croatia over the summer) hes playing the worst basketball of his career & his status as a junior just isnt a reason for him to keep seeing time.

Completely disagree. He’s not scoring well now but Bruno is a solid defender (better than Kaifes for sure), doesn’t get lost, knows the system, keeps the ball moving and good things happen when he drives. I’m not saying we need to make him a starter or give a lot more minutes , and right now advanced stats don’t love him but there’s something to be said for having a comforting presence that knows what they’re doing out there.

While he isn’t shooting great, pretty hard to write somebody off this early in the season
