Speaking of small ball, Pam Zekman is so short even Porter would only recruit her as a preferred walk on.

I wonder how tall Fleet Wolf/ramblin_wolves is? Something has got to explain his long-standing fixation with height.

That gave me a good chuckle.

I was actually pleased with how Frank played D against Nevada. He got washed in the pick n roll the first time but after that he made an adjustment and seemed to clog the screening action up. It wasn't pretty but I thought he responded to the moment well. I think the upper limit of his contributions to the team right now is playing aggressive D while cam is sitting. That's no small thing. Having a formidable presence in the paint for 40 minutes is great. If he can play balls to the wall for 10-15 minutes I'd be very happy with that.

A solid defensive backup for King Krut would be very valuable.... but I'm surprised our group hasn't spent more time discussing the lack of offense that we've gotten from our bench!?!? Now with Lucas being on bench and Coop taking his spot I'm that much more concerned about this topic. Thoughts?

Two things:
1. More on Negron and offense. I am thinking, and again, not second guessing PM, because he's the boss, but as an observer, and a fan that wants our players to succeed, if Negron can run the floor, pass the ball and but is not an efficient three point shooter, why not work with what he could do? For example, couldn't he contribute to offensive rebounds, and put backs, pick and roll? We historically head back on defense quickly, passing on offensive rebounds, am I right? Put backs could contribute much needed points... Percentages on put backs and layups is much higher than hoping that four guys are all making their open three pointers. I may be old school here. Just thinking out loud. Three shooters, Krutwig and Negron board crashing. Thoughts?
