We did exactly what we had to do to win this game on the defensive end. Obviously, 2 for 19 or whatever it was on threes, plus 19 turnovers is what lost it for us. If we'd made five fewer turnovers and hit just 4 of those 17 missed threes, we could have won this.

Nice to see Aher get a sense of what he can do well, and where he fits in. Negron played pretty well. And great defense with a good game plan against Maryland. That's about it.

Did not think it was possible for both Custer and Townes to have games as bad as they did in the same game.

That is a lot of blocks and I was aware of the turnovers. I’m just not giving Maryland the glory for our mistakes. Majority of those turnovers were very stupid, along with a lot of the stuffed drives. We lost ourselves that game, not Maryland’s defense.

This is definitely frustrating. The silver lining here is that our freshmen are gaining a ton of experience which will be very valuable when we start conference. I still think this team can turn it around. We have a pretty high ceiling....

No doubt the turnovers were mostly on us.
