I know, I know...we are in the middle of the grind of this season. But Jon Rothstein just tweeted next year's Cayman Islands Classic lineup:

-Loyola Chicago
-South Florida
-New Mexico State
-Colorado State
-Old Dominion
-George Mason
-Washington State
-Eighth team TBD [rumored Wisconsin]

Guess it is an improvement as it includes some solid mid-majors, but overall, it is "meh" with Wazzu being the only P5 team (they have a pretty pathetic basketball program). Wisconsin would move the dial a bit.

I was just looking back at the post for this current year's schedule. In addition to the tournament we have a return game at Ball State and a home game against St. Joes

The UIC contract was just a home and home, two year deal?

Does the Cayman Islands tournament have any campus games built in or is it 3 games there and that's it?

Porter’s been pretty emphatic that he likes that game, so I would be shocked if it’s not on the schedule next year. Unless UIC doesn’t want to continue it...

UIC is the only local team not running scared from us.
