Always good to leave Terre Haute with a W. Of course, it’s always good to leave Terre Haute in general.

Also, hilarious that Porter took off his tie.

Good win, especially with their nearly full house getting into it as they cut the lead down to three.

Glad to see that our young guys played with composure-- Bujdoso was very solid defensively, hit some key baskets (that open three on the pass from Krutwig was HUGE), and passed well. Kaifes had two assists and helped to spread the defense with two early threes. Uguak had another double-digit scoring performance and was playing good defense at the end of the game despite having four fouls.

Custer had another one of his "off" games, like at Evansville and Maryland. It was his lowest-scoring game since the first game of Arch Madness last year when he scored only two points. But the team pulled together, Custer had four assists and helped set the table for others, and we got the win.

At first, I felt like Krutwig had a bad game (or at least well below average). Then I looked at the stat sheet: Double-double with 16 points and 10 boards, one block and two assists.

Starting to get worried about all the minutes piling up for Custer, Krutwig and Townes. But that's a topic for later....

It feels like Big Frank is progressively getting more minutes as the season goes on. He starting to get more involved in the offense, but still needs to cut down on the fouls.

I've also been impressed with his development recently. Once he learns what "vertical" means to refs, the fouls should take care of themselves.

The bench is progressing. Got great minutes from all 3 freshman. Franks offense is starting to come along, Cooper's really developing as a passer, and if Isaiah continues to attack more we'll be in real good shape.

Can't say enough about Lucas. So calm late.

Just who is PortersTie?

Sounds like a case for Pam Zekman.
