The Go family just got about eight seconds of ESPNU tv time.

I hope this performance means Negron will play more.
Also, is this the all time record for dunks in a game for Loyola?

I'm not sure why both Custer and Townes were both playing so late into the game. Just let them rest.

Bruno did all the little things on defense with tips, saving rebounds, etc.

If Lucas is out that’s what you need from him; he def played a lot better with extended time.

So now, despite everything-- Lucas' injury and re-injury, the embarrassing blowout losses at Evansville and Missouri State, the shaky offense, the rip-your-heart-out losses to Furman and St. Joe's-- Loyola is alone in first place in the MVC. And interestingly, the Ramblers have beaten all three teams tied for second place.

Crazy.

Very nice response to the Wednesday disaster. Alone in first place after four weeks? I'll take it

Wonder what the diagnosis is. Was the thumb not fully healed?

Fingers crossed he is back for a game or two in the regular season to get back in the groove then is go-time for Arch Madness.

Typically I’d agree, but given the offensive struggles this year if playing a few extra minutes of gametime in a game like this helps fix our struggles I’m ok with it. They were all around or under 30 minutes, so it wasn’t terrible.
