With Wednesday’s expected high of negative 13 and a likely game time temperature of negative 15, I wonder if the Valley has any contingency plans in place regarding rescheduling the game? I assume the university will be closed on Wednesday if the forecast is accurate. |

-16/-22 in my ZIP and a 6pm start after work closes at 5. Channeling my inner Millennial but it’s not worth the car potentially breaking down to go. Anyone who makes it deserves an award! |

Per Trib, Loyola hasn't made a decision about rescheduling due to weather. Depaul will play Villanova as scheduled Wednesday @ 7. Northern Illinois pushed up its Tuesday men's game 2 hours to 5, and cancelled the Wed. women's game. https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/b ... story.html Myself, I plan to sit this one out; I value the few appendages I have left which still work after a fashion. |

I heard it is still on as long as UNI can get here. They probably won't be able to fly in as there are many cancellations at Ohare and Midway. (I am not sure if charters fly regardless). But that said, if the refs can also get there there should be a game. My GUESS is that if anything they would move up the start time. |

The university tweeted that all classes will be cancelled but the game is scheduled as planned. |

They should have a stocking cap ......winter dress up.....hot chocolate something......maybe show movies from hot places in the movie theater before the game something ... |

TV is the reason why this game will not be cancelled. Everything else cries out for cancellation. Remember it is a 6 pm start. |

Then the TV, If they still call it that, is where I will be.... I love being at the game, but if I got frostbite and died, it would be my last game ever. I'll preserve myself so I can be there for all the good stuff coming down the pike. If it helps I will turn the volume up high.... Go Ramblers.... |
