Turk was great because he really reinvented himself by his senior year and became an all around player who played good D and could score at all 3 levels. Kaifes isn't there yet, but his rapid improvement throughout the year has been awesome to see. |

On February 3, they lost to Youngstown State which was their fourth loss in five games (to Horizon League teams). They were sitting at 14-9 overall and 6-5 in Horizon league play. They did not lose again until the national championship. Finished the regular season at 21-9 (13-5). The similarities are there. Let's hope our boys can go streaking like the Butler Bulldogs did. |
