It appears the plan is to go even slower than Mo State and hope they fall asleep.

UNI is going to beat Missouri State in Springfield before 7000 fans. 14 point lead with 223 left.

We're tied with Drake at the top now.

Dana Ford ejected with just over two minutes left. UNI up 15 now

MO St is what 1-15 from three? Because of course.

Yeah. I've thought about the idea that all the great luck we had during the NCAA Tournament last year (Custer's bounce high off the backboard against Tennessee as a prime example) has evened out against us this year.... but we've had some fundamental problems, confusion in our rotations, injuries, and bad game-planning in addition to being the top dog for the first time since the 80s.

Not sure about game planning, but I agree with the rest. In particular, we allow a lot of mildly contested threes.

And just like that, we are back to controlling our own destiny. But all three of our remaining games will be challenging. SIU is playing well and a roadie. UNI is always tough and just blew out MoSt @MoSt...and a roadie. Bradley has already beat us once and is one of the hotter teams in the league--senior day for Custer and Townes.

The path is in front of us. The team knows what they have to do.

Great defensive effort by Bujdoso all night, always in stance, long and moves well. Brunos now hit 8 of his last 15 threes. Sick swat by Frank as well, surprised he didn't play a bit more. Clay looked as smooth as he has all season.

Missouri State shoots 2 for 18??? You have to be kidding me!!!

I agree that game planning has contributed to our awful perimeter defense. Doesn't happen every game, but too many times we insist on doubling the post against guys that haven't demonstrated that they need to be doubled. 1 or 2 passes later there is an open 3 point shooter.
