I don't think we'll be the lowest seed (8th), my guess is 6th. That would likely mean winning on the road in the 1st round.

I have my B.A. from Loyola. I went to law school at Toledo. I think I’m the only one that would be excited to see that game. Also - if it happened, I would be hoping loyola thrashed them by 30. Also- I don’t think Toledo has made a post-season tournament since the mid-80s, so if they’ll definitely take a home game if they get one.

Seeds 1-4 get home games but if the higher seed has "arena availability" issues the lower seed could host. It would be hard to have another game at Gentile this season but it is possible. I would like to see Loyola @ Alabama or Loyola @ Dayton (which would in turn be Dayton @ Loyola as Dayton is hosting the First Four).

The NIT committee, chaired by Butler Director of Athletics Barry Collier, will announce selections and pairings Sunday, March 17.

So we'll be playing the newly formed "play in" game, then.
