Some fun potential matchups I’ve seen so far: Furman (rematch from this year), Florida (rematch from last year), Creighton (Porter played there), Indiana (played them in a secret scrimmage), Alabama, Texas, or Clemson. I personally would like to see Texas, Bama, or Indiana as I think these teams are very overrated P5 teams.

I thought we got a double bye to the third round for being conference champs. Or was that just the Horizon League?

I believe if we got Indiana it would be a home game since they refuse to play NIT home games.

According to @HappeningHoops on twitter - Wichita State has learned it will not be getting into the NIT and is accepting a CIT bid.

That is hotly disputed on Shockernet and I am skeptical myself.

Actually the tweet you posted doesn't even support your assertion that WSU won't be invited to the NIT.
Its claim is merely that WSU will accept a bid to the CIT. Reading the comments that follow makes it clear that this is contingent on WSU not getting an NIT invite, but that hasn't been determined yet.

It would be pretty funny if we ended up facing NC State after all of this.

Location: Livin in the middle, between the two extremes
Old MVC v New MVC, Porter Moser alma mater...Sets up pretty well for journalists looking for storylines.
