I like Bryan Mullins and I will be happy for him if he gets a job that he wants. He has had a role in Loyola's success. However, if you think that he is more responsible for Loyola's success than Porter, you're an SIU fan, foolish or just trying to get flamed on Ramblermania, or all of the above. In any event, I will take my chances with Porter. I would be really concerned if we lose Porter. We would lose a lot if he leaves. I don't see him leaving because there is a great deal of opportunity here and he can blaze his own path. I see him consolidating his base of support and creating the type of program he wants. |

I have been holding out hope that he will get a better offer elsewhere and not wind up competing against us in the MVC, but I am of the belief this has been a done deal since St. Louis, if not before. |

I think you're probably right. The so-called "search" this week is for show to demonstrate their "due dilligence". Might as well start on my next poll: Who should we hire to replace Bryan Mullins? |
