Well bball has a little juice left.....but I wanted to bring up a couple of opportunities for ALumns in the area....the first is the undergraduate research Symposium. Undergrads who have done research projects and internships present them to the public. Jurors, and this is where you come in, go around and evaluate and discuss with the students their projects. It really is fascinating and an up lifting experience. You do not need to be an expert . You are provided with a simple matrix to help judge the project. The chance to interact with the students is the real plus. You come away feeling pretty good about the LU....It takes about two hours and their are two sessions.
