Well... I know some of us worried that this might hurt the recruiting.... and maybe there could have been some solid speculation about that if things weren't leaked... but I gotta say.. turning down 2.2 million, 8 years.... I think that HELPS our recruiting. With that said, I don't think we are gonna get home-and-homes with St. John's any time soon.. Still a great day to be a Rambler! |

That was interesting. Do this all again next week when the coach at the flagship state school where aforementioned man in the middle lives takes the stand in federal court to either openly admit to committing NCAA violations or perjure himself? edit: I don't know if the gallows humor/sarcasm comes across well on the internet? |

Thank you Coach! I will happily eat crow on this one, I thought he was gone. He is a better man than I, turning down such a huge pay day to stay at a program and culture he create speaks loudly of the man’s character. Happy he is our coach, it’s a great day to be a Rambler. Can’t wait for the season to start! |
