The Moore's were driving on M14 east bound near Livonia around 2am Saturday morning. A 23 year old woman was driving westbound in THE EAST BOUND lanes. According to witnesses it was a fiery crash as the Moore's car was hit head on. Moore's daughter Jaidyn was killed immediately as was the driver of the wrong way vehicle. Moore's wife Jennifer was seriously injured and was removed from life support later Saturday. Three other people were injured with one being in serious condition. Michigan police reports did not provide any further details. It was a real tragedy but especially so because the Moore's were the victims of a wrong way driver and were not at fault. Although I did not know him well from his time at Loyola, Howard always impressed me as a class individual. It is a very sad day for sure and we all should pray for the Moore family including Howard and his son Jerrill. |
