According to Frank Agunnane’s Instagram story he has a hard cast on his right hand, up to his mid-forearm. He posted a video of Sister Jean signing it, which while cute, is also a bit concerning. Anyone hear anything? Tried posting a screenshot but the file is too large...

I haven't seen/heard anything, but they definitely hid that hand in his media day photo that's on the Men's Basketball Instagram story.

Also tried to grab a sceenshot, but can't get the file small enough to upload.

Is anyone going to the practice today? I suppose that would give us an answer

Franks out about 5 weeks with what Moser called the Drew Brees thumb injury.

said he would miss first 4 or 5 games....really a big loss.....as there is really no one to fill his spot other than Frank...In the scrimmage today...Welch played the 5 spot and for a real little bit ugauk and none were near as effective as Krut or Frank would be......I think this injury could cost us a game.

Thanks Nate.

How about your thoughts about the scrimmage, especially the newcomers?

He has a tear in a ligament in his thumb, but it has not separated, so he does not require surgery. It just needs time to heal. He can continue to his conditioning program and will miss the first four or five games.

When I first heard the description of the cast, I was fearing a lot worse, ie a broken wrist.

If he can get back by the Thanksgiving tournament, we might be ok. On the plus side, this should mean Welch can gain some experience in some winnable games.
