The crime talk of Chicago is really overhyped as well. Yes one of the largest cities in the country has crime, yes the south and west side need to work on it, and have way too many shootings. That does not make the entire city a dangerous cesspool. I’ve rarely ever felt unsafe in all of the years that I lived in Chicago. I think the positives of the city outweigh the negatives.
