Wow. UC Davis must really suck.

Same story as last year on the road. Go long stretches without scoring and then get absolutely embarrassed down the stretch. First road game with a young team. We either learn from this loss and mature or we let it define us. Only 3 games into the season. Trying to remain optimistic.

Furman is a good team, I think that will be apparent as the season goes on. We’re a young team, at every level. Games like this happen with such teams, especially on the road against good teams. I really want to see what we look like when Clemons and Big Frank come back healthy. Hopefully by the Cayman Islands.

On the bright side it wasn’t as bad as Boise State.

I honesty wondered how long it would take to see “Boise State” in this thread

How did Welch foul out playing only 10 minutes?

How did they shoot 24 free throws and we only shot 3?

Instead of making plays and getting fouled, we simply turned the ball over.

Upon reflection, the most disappointing thing to me is that this was a game we should have been competitive in, but we just looked overwhelmed from the start. I kept hearing how quick our team was supposed to be... so why were they blowing by us all night? Maybe Frank will be the guy who is a defensive presence inside to block some shots on those drives.

Kind of a weird game from this Furman fan's perspective... at the game it didn't feel like Furman was able to get it inside much while Loyola seemed to do it at will, but when I looked up stats for points in the paint they were nearly even. Tough loss friends, best of luck to you the rest of the way.

The breakaway dunks add up.

I've been curious, what's your Gurley's relation to Todd?

Good luck the rest of the way. Hope you guys make this loss look not so bad for us.

Are we a better offense when Krut looks to score or when Krut looks to be the leading assist man in the nation? Does the answer depend on 3 point shooting?
