Williamson was called "doubtful" to return.

This freshman, Lee, is basically Stephen Curry reincarnated for Davidson.

Ugh. We had a shot to win this one. Hope Williamson is okay. I think we win this game if he was able to play in the 2nd half.

Was hoping to head into conference play on a high note. Disappointing to lose a game we really should have won. Lee killed us.

Still feel much better about the team than I did a few weeks ago.

Williamson was taking warmups in the second half, so that’s at least a good sign going forward.

No question we win if he’s playing, IMHO. Not only him, but Hall had to sit most of the second half because of (<cough> questionable) fouls. but it is what it is. Good look on that last shot by Hall. It was dead center, just a little long. I think he makes that 7/10 times.

On to conference season. I still don’t see any team in the MVC I look at and say “we can’t beat them”.

Another game where offense kinda went awol for a long stretch. Should have won this one

Lee totally exposed our lack of defense against the 3. He had the hot hand to be sure but this game was winnable, we just let them back in

Hope Lucas is ok

If you told me we’d split these games at the start of the year I’d be happy. But this hurts with how close it was. That said with a banged up Krut, Lucas out with injury for 30ish minutes, and Tate stuck in foul trouble (offense stagnated when he was out), it could have been a lot worse.

We got the shot we needed to win with Clemons, and Tate’s had a chance to tie as well.

Also the refs didn’t cost us the game, but some of those late calls were AWFUL. Particularly the charge on Welch (who I thought played great defense), and a few against Tate. I don’t know how you call one on a lose ball against him, but the next two scrums where Wildcats are doing the exact same thing they swallow their whistles.
