Doesn't sound like he was behaving himself in an appropriate manner.

Former Ramblers assistant Bennie Seltzer is the interim head coach, although the article makes no mention of him having previously been on Loyola

Whoa, that would be a huge blow to that program.

also interesting that two of their assistants Licklitter and Graves are gone...both had been head coaches...looks like Licklitter is no longer coaching and Graves headed to Xavier....we need someone to sleuth this up, Also interesting to know why Seltzer did not come back to LU...The change at Washington State offered ample time for Bernie to have got back in the mix.?.

Judging by the article, it does not look like Evansville was blindsided by this and put him on leave while they did an investigation. It looks like they knew about this for quite some time, took steps to address it, and then more stuff came out so they put him on leave until they can put all their ducks in a row to fire him. Not good for Evansville. Looks like only a matter of time before he’s gone, and if they are hiring a law firm to investigate, even if it’s unsubstantiated, he would not be back for a while.

Good luck to Evansville in recruiting. This is a major blow for them. Any good will from the Kentucky win just got wiped.

Because there are only so many billable hours in a day...

My personal hypothesis is that they are hiring a law firm to "investigate" in the hopes that he resigns, rather than firing him with the risk of having to give him any kind of severance. I bet he resigns before an investigation even gets started... He'll land somewhere on an NBA team payroll.

Both the rumors and Twitter are bad.

But on a side note, who was the big man we had back in the day. Wasn't it Bernie Seltzer or something close to that?
