Speaking of Panther Nation, some might say having over 20 separate forums is a tad excessive, but not me!
In fact I think Panther Nation would be even better than it already is (and that's saying a LOT!) with a few more forums, such as:

Panther Nation Pork Recipes

The Wit and Wisdom of BCPanther.

Panther SPF Analytics: A deep dive into sunscreens, their use and abuse. How and when to apply and what SPF is right for you. AJ GREEN, Moderator.

Panther Nation Detasselling Dos and Don'ts

Things To Do In Cedar Falls When You Can't Be Anywhere Else

Northern Iowa University Alumni Job Search:
Subforum: Fast Food
Subforum: Custodial
Subforum: Hog-related

Panther Nation, Best Of II (to replace the current Panther Nation, Best Of forum , which has had no activity since its inception in 2002.) New slogan: Lower Standards, Higher Hopes!

This is some high level material. I laughed my ass off throughout then felt guilty about it

I cant sum it up in 3 words.

Speaking of things to do in Cedar Falls and environs, I did a little research and discovered this top attraction:

The Ice House Museum https://www.cfhistory.org/who-we-are#IceHouseMuseum
"See water turn from a liquid to a solid right before your eyes! The suspense builds as you watch the water transition from free flowing to slushy to ROCK HARD in the show's allotted running time. (One to two hours depending on outside temperature).
UNI scientists still have found no explanation for this miraclulous transformation, but recently proposed that it has something to do with physics or chemistry."

Sounds like a MUST SEE to me!

One more fun thing to do in Cedar Falls:

Black Hawk County Pig Farms Bus Tour.

"Iowa's initial foray into agrotourism, it is modelled after the famous Napa Valley winery tours, but for pork belly connoiseurs. See if you can tell the difference between Berkshire, Duroc, Landrace and Poland White bacon in a blind taste test! Buy a souvenir t-shirt with our slogan "I'd rasher be in Iowa.""

I'd be in "hog heaven" going on this tour!

Done with trash talking (unless provoked or I come up with something good).
Will start talking basketball.

Go Ramblers!

UNI Fight Song

Hail our Panthers, we are ever loyal,
Showing our strength and unity.
As we rise, we firmly stand behind you,
Urge you on to victory.
Rah! Rah! Rah!
As you lead us on to fame and honor,
Fight! Fight! Fight! will be our cry.
So, give us a yell, Ho! the purple and the gold,
Victory for UNI!

Emphasis supplied by me, but changed nary a word.

Fact: the Panther logo is based on a drawing for a bottle opener.

So, are we rooting for Bradley (yuck) or SIU today?
