Speaking of Panther Nation, some might say having over 20 separate forums is a tad excessive, but not me! Speaking of things to do in Cedar Falls and environs, I did a little research and discovered this top attraction: The Ice House Museum https://www.cfhistory.org/who-we-are#IceHouseMuseum "See water turn from a liquid to a solid right before your eyes! The suspense builds as you watch the water transition from free flowing to slushy to ROCK HARD in the show's allotted running time. (One to two hours depending on outside temperature). UNI scientists still have found no explanation for this miraclulous transformation, but recently proposed that it has something to do with physics or chemistry." Sounds like a MUST SEE to me! |

One more fun thing to do in Cedar Falls: Black Hawk County Pig Farms Bus Tour. "Iowa's initial foray into agrotourism, it is modelled after the famous Napa Valley winery tours, but for pork belly connoiseurs. See if you can tell the difference between Berkshire, Duroc, Landrace and Poland White bacon in a blind taste test! Buy a souvenir t-shirt with our slogan "I'd rasher be in Iowa."" I'd be in "hog heaven" going on this tour! |
