| Post subject: | LU Losses |
In MVC play this year LU is undefeated at home. All 4 of our MVC road losses are to the MVC teams with the 5 best records (the 5th team is Bradley who we will play on the road the last regular season of the year). One factor for these losses is that of the 9 LU players who have played the most minutes for LU this season, 6 had never played a MVC road game & don’t know the opponents' gyms. Another factor is that our only point guard (Keith Clemons), missed the 1st 10 games (counting the 2 exhibition games against St. Louis & Indianapolis) of the non-conference schedule when we went 4-6. But since he has been back, with time, it has helped the team chemistry a lot, & we have gone 14-5. Early in MVC play I thought LU would go 12-6 and maybe 13-5. I still feel the same way. But nothing is a sure thing until we play the games. Go Ramblers! |

Bradley is going to have a RED Out and they are expecting their biggest crowd of the year.....we have become a major draw.......which reminds me I saw something I never thought I would see......in the student center before the UNI game there was a man holding a fist of 20 dollar bills trying to buy a ticket to the game....who woulda thought? |

I saw that guy too with the bills fanned out in his hand. I did a double take and took a closer look. Pretty sure they were singles. When it comes to currency, I'm pretty perceptive. |
