The other unfortunate thing is whoever goes to the Tourney probably gets bounced in the 1st round and that could cost the conference potentially a lot of money.

This is also the problems with tournaments.....which really determines the best team in the Conference....the year long Conference play , especially in the Valley where everyone plays everyone home and away or a 3/4 day tnmnt playing the unus
ual circumstances of playing every day.

I don't think they will. They will need to rely on bubble teams failing in their tournaments. I don't see that happening.

Still hard to swallow that LUC got bumped.
Can’t imagine how players/coaches are feeling.
Can’t say we deserved to be there but the table was sure set for a party.
Let’s hope our guys learn from this and get it right next season.

League office can’t be happy. Two years in a row a meh Bradley team will be the only MVC team to lose in the NCAA 1st Round since 2012.

I wonder if they will add Murray St and someone else to put an end to these 5/6/7 seeds making the CBS final these past 2 years.

My guess is they're a 13 seed, but 14 is possible... They had only 1 win against a Top 100 Kenpom team (under .500 Kansas State at a neutrral site).... and got swept by both Loyola and Northern Iowa.

But they won the championship of a very competitive league.... so.....

My big concern is, why is the officiating in the conference tournament so different from league games? That has to be fixed, or we're going to get sub par teams year after year.
