interesting they just packed the gym last night for a Regional High School basketball game. I am surprised the IHSA has not said anything...those finals will be in NCAA gyms

IHSA just announced that sectional finals this weekend for 3A/4A and then state finals for 1A/2A (and state finals for 3A/4A next week) will have severely restricted crowds. All spring sports as well.

Loyola just suspended all in person classes for the semester. They're all going to be online and all residential halls will close for the semester as well.

The first time in over 70 years my high school makes it to State, and nobody can go watch. That sounds about right.

Big Ten just canceled their tourney. I put the odds of March Madness happening at 0.01% now.

You can’t fail to make the Tournament if there is no Tournament

I don’t like any of this, but from a basketball perspective, I now don’t feel so bad about going out at arch madness. At least we had some finality and closure to our season. I can’t imagine what it would be like to be a longtime Dayton fan and have to always wonder “what could have been?”
