NU board says he was rejected for grades last time ...so doubt that will change ?...I also heard that we stopped recruiting him because he would not fit the "culture" and you can read between the lines on that one....definitely a big blow for Valpo......my lasting memory of JFL will be marquis Kennedy stealing the ball in the last couple seconds...u can still argue foul or no foul...but that was a play by a kid(MK) who wants to win.
My money would be on Wichita State...maybe DP ?

Michigan has missed out on a few potential recruits this Spring, I wouldn’t be shocked if they took a flyer on JFL. I don’t think that’d be a great fit for him, though, unless he wants to potentially get lost in the depth charts.

JFL put out a statement on twitter alluding to issues with his grandmother and wanting to be closer to home.

Gotta be thinking Northwestern and he pulled his grades up this year. Dildy (who probably started recruiting JFL with us) brought him into Valpo and is at NU now.

Maybe DePaul? Not sure their scholarship situation

Former Rambler, Jalon Pipkins, has committed to Horizon League’s Purdue Fort Wayne. I actually like this move for him. Hopefully he gets playing time and can show off his athleticism like we saw at times this past year.

I thought so but Tim Edmonds who used to be with the Phoenix thinks he'll get a family hardship waiver and be eligible immediately.

I don’t think anything is guaranteed with waiver decisions. There was a kid from Southern Illinois who was playing football in the SEC (Georgia?), had a completely legitimate hardship with a family member that he wanted to transfer back home to the UofI to be closer to. The school he was transferring from supported the move, and Illinois was the closest FBS school to his home. The NCAA denied his waiver and made him sit.
