Wow ! I was checking past p2rformances of RAMBLERS vs MVC-- Our guys have a lot--I mean a TON of work to do---

--LUC --WSU 9-18
--LUC --BU 17-30
--LUC --Ill ST 3- 7
--LUC--Ind St 7-8
--LUC--So Ill 2-0 !!!
--LUC--N Iowa 1-5
--LUC--Mo ST 1-0 !!!
--LUC--DU 10-9 !!!
--LUC--Evans 16-20

Long long way to go---BUT the WOLF is about to RAMBLE !!!!

Here's to a fabulous MVC Season --Good luck to all of us--Lets get many tourney bids come March. My NCAA range picks for NCAA bids---I'll go out on alimb here---OUCH !! Trees and Shocks with No Iowa a dark horse for the Dance with three more for other tourneys !!

Not to piss in your Cheerios, but the teams you've played recently, have they been good by MVC standards or at the bottom of the conference? I honestly don't know and that doesn't mean anything for certain. If they've been mid pack type of teams it would mean more of course. I know we haven't played you guys since forever so I've had no reason to pay attention prior to this past summer. Still learning.

I'm a little less optimistic this year as there was a lot of turnover at the top of many rosters. Wichita gets in and the Trees have a shot. The Cats and Gargoyles have a shot at the NIT. If things go well, the Bares could have a shot there as well. The C tournaments don't much matter to me and I'm sure a couple will be in those though.

I don't have the exact records, but I know the last 5 years or so we've held our own ok. I know we've beaten Bradley a few times and Indiana State (the year they won the MVC tourney I believe).

BUT 01 , you must consider how long I have been around--SO I went to LUC's Press guide--and pulled the all-time records. You are correct though, we have been playin the MVC better recently--Do you recall the falling out of bounds half court shot that beat Braves in Peoria ! ! I nearly fainted dead away !!
