That is the extreme left safe space where Aaron dwells. It has an oxygen free atmosphere which makes it impossible to live for anyone with a brain.

Maybe JC64, while trying to hurl a partisan insult totally unrelated to the topic, has hit upon a solution. If we all wear scuba gear we should be able to have fans in the stands....

Ahunte is about the most fair-minded person I know. His politics are a little to the left of mine but he is invariably civil honest and tolerant of different views.
Didn't mean to start a political discussion.

I would use an oxygen mask rather than miss a game.

Maybe we could share space with the Muslim Lesbian Vegans. I hear their hummus is to die for!

Sadly, MLV disbanded, but for you guys we have Ramblermania!

Maybe Zoom attendance with audio piped into the PA system? Bonus: they could control the mute button

Talk about a disproportionate response to a joke. Sheesh.

Call it solely a hunch, but I think there will be fans allowed at the games by the time basketball season rolls around, albeit only at about 1/5 of capacity though or something like that. Hopefully the vaccine is available by the end of the year. If so, I think the vaccine will be widely-enough distributed by February for crowd sizes to start getting back to normal.

On the MVCFANS message board BCPanther raises a good point about the possible effect of Chicago's Quarantine Rule on the Ramblers' ability to play basketball this season.
Here is Chicago's Quarantine Order:
https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/sites/c ... order.html

As it stands now the only MVC state included in the quarantine order is Iowa, but of course that could change. Some states could be dropped as "Hot Spots" and others added.
As I interpret the Rule it would require a team travelling from a state on the list to Chicago to immediately quarantine for 14 days before playing any game, and for a Rambler team returning to Chicago from an away game in a listed state to likewise quarantine.
Of course this effectively means no home or away games against a team from a listed state (e.g.. Drake or Northern Iowa).

This would pose a real dilemma if all other Valley teams except Loyola were given the go ahead to play their conference games.
I suppose one work around would be to schedule back-to- back games at a neutral court outside of both Chicago and the blacklisted state.

Wisconsin, Missouri, and Ohio are all close to the trigger point for the quarantine. I wonder how it might affect the MLB season.
