Loyola was ranked 61 out of 144 in college sports madness preseason rankings, they included a preview for the team too.

Nice write up. Looks like Northern Iowa will be ranked higher.

UNI will probably come up somewhere around the low or mid 40s.

Here's a question about the preview, for those who track things like the depth chart and scholarship matrix..... They list Damezi Anderson as having his eligibility pending. Do we need him next year, or are we better off having him be a starter for two years after Aher and Tate are gone?

That's exactly what I was thinking for UNI, I still think were being underrated somewhat but that's expected. I'm not sure, it would be nice to have him for a longer period of time but if he's superior to either of them it would be amazing to have that kind of talent this year while we're stacked and ready to make another potential run.

If we filed for a waiver on Anderson, the only ground I can see is that he was run off by Indiana.

Quite possibly the most accurate typo I’ve ever read.

Nick Schultz had a story on his blog saying we did not file for a waiver for Anderson.

Kinda surprised we're not higher, but give UNI all the hype for now i suppose. UNI's three headed monster of Green, Phyfe, and Berhow is prob the best top 3 in the league, but there's a pretty fair drop off after that. Noah Carter could be a breakout candidate for them and I liked Kimmons, but Jacobson never seemed to play him with Green. I think they'll really miss Browns defense and Spencer Haldeman's ability to consistently hit back breaking shots from deep.

The way I see it we're deeper than any team in the league. Krutwig, Williamson, Clemons, Hall, Kennedy, Kaifes, and Norris have all proven that they can score in double figures on a fairly regular basis... Wojcik and Welch both looked like they belonged as freshman as well and should get better... hard not to be excited about Hebb... We finally have a number of shooters that can be relied upon to space the floor which we haven't had the last two seasons with the additions of Norris and Kaifes; two defensive stoppers in Uguak and Williamson, a great slasher in Kennedy, and of course Krut. Lot of options to go to late in games/when someone goes cold.
