I'm sure they utilize an algorithm that takes many different factors into account. I think this season will be a fight between us and Bradley, especially if AJ Green is out. Let's hope this wont be three years in a row that they win Arch Madness.

Never like to hear someone has an injury, but if Green has a torn labrum, him playing this season will not be him playing anywhere near 100%. He would have to play through a lot of discomfort and would have to be getting constant treatment. From what I’ve read, it sounds like you can play, but it’s an inevitability he’ll have hang it up and rehab or have surgery at some point. This year’s back-to-back, short rest weekly conference schedule is not really conducive to allow him to be able to rest and recover in between games.

I doubt the 5th year of eligibility means much to him, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he sits out the regular season and waits to see what happens with COVID or if the Panthers have a legitimate shot at winning arch madness. Maybe if he thinks they have a chance, he comes back for Saint Louis, and if not, he elects to have the surgery if needed. At this point it looks like resting the hip is the best option.
