I’m excited to see if our defense holds again this afternoon. They’ve only given up an average of 57 points per game over the last 6. ISUb was able to put up 76, but that was with Krut sitting 22 minutes, which was a strategic mistake on our part. In 6 out of 7 games we’ve held our opponents to 60 points or under. That’s insanely good no matter who you are playing. My hope this afternoon is that Krutwig goes at Phyfe early (and often) and doesn’t settle for jump shots or hook shots. We wore them out last night and now it’s time for krut to go at Phyfe and try to draw some fouls. Williamson has to be exhausted from yesterday. An ideal game today would be for us to build a lead at halftime, and put Uguak in for the second half to frustrate them on offense. We hold them under 60 again today and I’m going to be really impressed with this team. |
