Tuesday, November 12 at Eblen Center, Cookeville, TN (7:30 p.m. CT) Tennessee Tech is still in rebuilding mode after an 12-17 season in 2012-13 (10-17 against D-I opponents, 5-11 in the OVC, 247 RPI). Last year, Tech not only gave Loyola a scare at the Gentile Arena, coming within three points of knocking off the Ramblers in an 81-78 LU victory, they beat UW-Milwaukee and UW-Green Bay. The Golden Eagles were picked to finish 6th (last) this year in the somewhat competitive Ohio Valley East Division, which features Belmont, Morehead State, and Eastern Kentucky. Tonight's game will be Tech's home opener. Tech opened the season on Saturday with a 72-62 loss at South Florida, in which Chicago-bred JUCO transfer Ty Allen impressed in his first D-I game. Allen, a quick 6'2" shooting guard, scored 25 points in 29 minutes. Center Dwan Campbell, another JUCO making his D-I debut, stands 6'8" and fills up the lane with 245 pounds, which resulted in nine boards (five offensive). Tech's 6'7" senior forward Dennis Ogbe led all rebounders in the contest with 11 boards to go with five points in only 20 minutes. Anyone have any luck getting the video to work? (I know the game hasn't started, but the OVC site shows it as a doubleheader with a volleyball match) |

I refreshed the page and it came on. Still women's volleyball, with no announcers or commentary. Stands mostly empty. Then feed dropped out after about 15 seconds. I'll try again closer to the 7:30 start time, but refreshing the page might help. The home pages says there are 231 people watching the feed. |

Interesting start to the game. Tenn Tech was issued a technical as one of their players dunked in warm ups. I was not familiar with that rule. Keke missed the first. Not happy about that. |
