Nick Robinson from Kenwood Academy in Chicago. I think he was leading team in scoring....has left for the year. Nick became a father...wanted to take the Depaul game off for safety reasons for himself, his girlfriend and the new baby. His side of the story is that Lottich told him play or take the whole season off....He decided to be safe and is taking the whole season off....Will be interesting to see if he returns? Not a good look for Valpo, if true (and I have no reason to believe it’s not). It seems like off court issues and transfers has been an annual event there lately.

I thought part of the story, or maybe it was a comment after, said that he intended to transfer.

Given their roster issues the past couple of years, I wouldn’t be surprised to see lottich fired and for them to make a run at Roger Powell, former Illinois guard and current Gonzaga assistant who used to coach at valpo under the Drews.

They pursued Powell before Lottich when Drew left but Powell didn’t want the job.

Didn’t he follow drew to vandy? I wonder if they’ll pursue him even harder now. Or if they even have the resources to do so
