Christian is having a good year at Grand Valley st.....starting all their games, averaging 30 minutes,,,,10 pts, 13 rebounds, and 3 blocks a game. sounds like he probably made a good decision for himself.....also on that team if anyone remembers is Isaac Gasserman who played at ISU... |

forgot to add that Cammeron Satterwhite left the U. of Montana team after two games.....sorry to see things did not work out for him....so LU, Northern Arizona U , then Montana and now?????? Him and Christian both seemed like good, likeable kids... |

Glad for Negron. Always thought he had good potential. He found a spot where he can excel. I'm surprised by Satterwhite too. Wonder what happened. Seemed like a good kid who actually contributed on our 17-18 team. Isaiah Bujdoso has started all five games for Hutchinson Community College (https://www.bluedragonsports.com/sports ... saiah_t7bk). Not crazy numbers but a nice 5+ assists per game. Hope he gives D1 another shot for a low major. He can be a good PG at the level of play. |

Jalon Pipkins lead Fort Wayne to an upset over Green Bay in 2OT last night in the Horizon league tournament. Had 21/4/4 including a crazy 3 that sent them to 2OT. Always thought he was talented, just got swallowed up by all of our guard talent and Marquise’s quick transition to the college game |

So we are looking at another guard at Hutchison Community College who plays alongside Bujdoso, Josh Baker...wonder what those conversations are like? Also 3.5 star Brandin Podzeimski removed us from his list....He has a lot of P5 offers |

It was number 2 or 3 on ESPN Top 10 plays yesterday. He never adjusted here. I think the restraints we had on our offense at that time hampered him. He probably would have fit better with us this years since are a little more freewheeling in terms of flow and taking more 3's. |

In addition to Pipkins playing at IPFW, former SIU guard Aaron Cook is playing at #1 Gonzaga, Liam Robbins is starting at Minnesota (a team that lured ISU's Reggie Lynch a few years ago), and Evansville's Dru Smith is a star for #24 Missouri. There's a lot of talent in this league, and every time I hear the conference belittled as a means to load up the NCAA Tournament with 9th place Big Ten teams, 14-9 SEC teams, and Blue Bloods lurking around the .500 mark, it makes me angry. |
