Do you guys think either players will get any NBA tryout's once their college career is over? I was listening to the Titus and Tate podcast and they were even saying that Krutwig's ceiling could see NBA minutes. The national spotlight the team is getting right now makes me think that they'll at least get some tryout's from a few NBA teams, whether anything comes from that, I have no idea. Normally I didn't view Krutwig as having NBA potential because of his lack of athleticism but he continues to impress me and increase his value.

Cam and Lucas would be better served by coming back for a 5th year and working on their post-graduate degrees on LU's dime. They are both smart kids and will have fine careers ahead of them. I think the interesting thing will be to see if they have been so infected by the Culture that either of them go into Coaching when they are done. They are both natural leaders who have worked to get everything they can out of their talents. The two of them could have potential to be great coaches. Great coaches do not tend to be the greatest players, but those who were forced to worked at it, and know the game backwards and forward to survive and compete. Think about catchers who have become managers. Most were solid MLB players but not the HOF types.

Those are the more realistic options that I can see them exercising. I could see them both getting involved in coaching. I just enjoy speculating on the idea of them getting more looks out of respect of what they've done over their careers. They've played well against players that are now in the NBA and players that are on draft boards to go in the 1-2 round for this year.

Krut showing his game can work against a legit NBA prospect like Kofi certainly helped, but I feel like to really have a shot he would need to show a continuation of extending his range outside of the paint. He's shown he can hit that little jumper from the elbow, but I'm still not confident anytime he takes it.

Definitely could see Lucas getting at least an invite or two (like Ingram and Custer did) from some of the more local teams (Chicago/Milwaukee/Indiana?). Every NBA team is always looking for potential 3&D wing type players. Granted, he's probably undersized for that role in the NBA, but you never know.

they'll get invites but neither will ever see a minute of NBA action

They can probably make some money overseas. There is some good money to be made there if you play your cards right

Selfishly, I want them to come back for one more run.

If I was their parent, I'd tell them to find the best grad school they could find in the area they hope to work and get a free degree masters. They have achieved everything they could have possibly hoped for at Loyola. Find a new adventure.

Agree, I think they could both get some summer invites as some of our better players have the last few years. Could both be in the G League, realistically go play in the Euro League and make some cash. That’s what I would recommend

Coming back would be great, but seems unlikely. They have a limited window to make money playing, masters degree is always an option as a GA a few years down the road once they start coaching. I would recommend going to Europe.

Lucas translates best to the NBA, but is undersized. Krut is phenomenal, but his game is much more aligned with Euro hoops.

I have always thought Williamson could make it the NBA as a defensive specialist. If you are not an all around player, you need to do one thing exceptionally. I think that gives him a chance.

I don't Krutwig has the same potential. He does everything well, but he does not do one thing exceptionally.

Oddly enough, I think Aher is our best prospect. He could be a defensive specialist and is a little bigger and faster than Williamson.

I meant to add Aher to this list. From a physical standpoint he’s the most likely.

Meant to add him to my list as well. Probably the highest athletic upside of the seniors (and arguably the whole team) and markedly improved his 3 point shooting this year. Also seemed a lot more confident finishing through traffic in the lane this year. If the right team got a hold of him and made a few more tweaks to his shooting form he could carve out a nice spot as a 3&D wing.

Agree with what everyone else has already said - I don't see them ever making it up to the big leagues. I could see Lucas going to play in Europe for a few years, but I'm not sure if I see Krut following that path. He has said before that he's kind of a homebody and I really wonder if he'd be happy half way across the world. Both are strong students and seem to be strong, likable guys and I can see both of them being successful in whatever they chose to do. I think Krut's brother runs some AAU kids teams where they grew up...wonder if he'd start getting into coaching that way.
