Really pleased with this choice. As many have said this is an important hire, and I'm encouraged that we hired both a young extremely well regarded assistant coach as opposed to a retread previous HC. Even better that he has demonstrated recruiting chops. Cherry on top is he's already our guy. Home run hire to me. Worth noting also that Jacob Hutson seems to be returning too.

Very happy with this decision. He's been a winner at each step, serving as a graduate manager under Izzo, at his alma mater under Greg Kampe, and at Loyola. Dad was a coach, brother in the NBA.... Played in the NCAA Tournament.

Nice work by the athletic department.
