OK--We are now getting down to it---We must have a HUGE win Tuesday--no ifs ands or buts !! This team of ours must develop a killer instinct--something it has NOT had in years. This game will tell me a ton about how PM operates. Am sorry for Rockhurst if we do win big-But 'Niceness" time is long gone for our guys. We mst get a big lead and HOLD on to it---Not like what hit us in Nawlins ! We should not have lost that game--The way it was going weshould have blown them out by twenty or more. It should have been a good lesson for PM and our team---Will it have been ?? |

Should be a test as to whether we can prevent threes. Rockhurst shoots a lot of 'em (averaging 22.3 attempts per game), and hits on 39%. In their 95-80 exhibition loss at UMKC, they were 8-19 on three point attempts (42%), but missed 14 of their 38 free throw attempts. In Rockhurst's three games since, they're hitting 77% of their freebies. Hopefully Loyola can get a Non- D-I win out of the game while getting in some work for the players that really need it-- Cody Johnson (DNP at Tulane), Jeremy King, Tony Nixon (DNP at Tulane), etc. |

Agreed 63---BUT only after we have a big--and I mean BIG lead--Anything less is unacceptable at this stage. |

Osborne with 2 fouls in the first 3 minutes. Would like to see Cody Johnson and Jeremy King get some court time to work on footwork and defense (without fouling). |

KING !! Could be a real keeper--He knows how to pass to the cutter !! Nice. Granted its only Rockhurst but minutes count--Just the game for him to get them. Doyle KNOWS how to play this game for sure. I hate to gripe all the time--but the stream is really choppy. Go Ramblers ! |

The stream is choppy for me too, especially when there's camera movement. Doyle is really amazing. So far: 11 pts, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 turnover. I think King is showing a lot of progress this year. He's getting more minutes each game, making fewer mistakes, and showing more flashes of high potential each time out. I wrote in the preseason that he reminds me of Tyrelle Blair, and fortunately (unlike Tyrelle), he's being developed early and more consistently in a way that doesn't harm the team. He should get a lot of confidence from this game, especially if he's left in for 5-7 minutes or more in the second half. No turnovers in this game, a couple of rebounds, and a nice interior pass in seven minutes. |

Osborne with a 4th foul with 7 1/2 minutes left. I want to see more Jeremy King. |

Nice win against a team that would not go away with their three point shooting. Doyle and Thomas are a great pair on the court. Jeremy King showed a lot of promise. Jeff White was solid. Nick Osborne seems to still be working the cobwebs out of his head from his injury--- hopefully he'll have his bearings in the three games in three days we're facing this weekend. |
