CRUSHED ASU HUDSON great game Our team team smothered them

a few years ago we would have crowed about beating even a bad ASU team

MSU and Auburn would have been upsets and a win in won would have really looked good down the road. Selectors will be inclined against the small schools in March and it would have been nice to have objective evidence to refute them.

I don't think they can feel comfortable about an at large bid now should the conference not go our way

After the way that the games against MSU and Auburn ended the ASU game could have easily became a let down game. I give props to this team and to Drew Valentine for staying focused and taking care of business.

The latest AP poll still had the Ramblers getting votes, so the weekend perhaps helped in that Loyola had three games on national TV where they looked pretty good in front of the people that vote. The only losses are now both to ranked teams.
