Lately with the ups and downs there’s been a lot of back and forth about this team. Just wanted to create this subject to ask each of you; What would have to happen for you to consider this a successful season? I think just making the tournament is enough to keep the forward momentum of the program, but I would call it a successful season if they win a game in the NCAA tournament. |

Great idea and post jdubs. A successful season to me is an NCAA tournament appearance, ultimately that should be the goal every year. With such a senior laden team with tourney and winning experience, anything less than that would disappointing. Think we have the talent and ability to win a game or two, which would just be gravy. |

Certainly at this point, an NCAA Tournament bid would be a success. Despite having almost the whole team back, Krut's absence has meant a completely different style of play and a massive downgrade at the center position. I think a tournament bid keeps program momentum going, and then I am very interested to see if we can pull 1 or 2 high-level transfers in through the portal on our way into the A-10. The bigs at the top of that league are a big step up athletically from what we see in the Valley. |

I think a successful season is another NCAA tourney appearance. Winning games in the tourney would just be a kicker. Unfortunately, the way the team has been playing lately, my 'expectations' are that we drop two more games and lose on Saturday or Sunday in STL and end up playing in the NIT. Pre 2018, we'd be ecstatic about an NIT appearance. Now, with what returned from last year, I think that'd be a letdown for the players and fans. |

Anything less than winning the conference regular season and appearing in the tournament would be a let down to me. |

I think I would feel satisfied with something in this range: 1. An at large NCAA Tournament appearance and a first round win. 2. An MVC Regular Season AND Tournament Championship with a competitive loss against a good team in the NCAA. 3. Two wins in the NIT and a trip to NYC for the semis. I'd feel like the work we did this season and the sacrifice players made to come back for another year would be wasted if the team didn't achieve something close to these benchmarks. |

I expected us to be in the thick of a tough Valley race. Then the non-conference happened, and it looked like we were clearly the best team in the league. So, that raised my expectations. Frustrating that the rest of the league wasn't clicking in November/December. Things are tough now, but not getting a tournament bid would be disappointing because we put ourselves in a great position. |

Making the NCAA Tournament and winning at least one game. |

My expectation is that the Seniors leave on a winning note. To me this means at least a 1. MVC tournament title, 2. NIT title, or 3. Make the round of 32 or better in the NCAA tournament |
